BEGGING IS FORBIDDEN |
As mentioned in one of the following postcards, beggars are welcome because they travel from one farm to the next one and bring the news from the neighborhood. Often, they also work for a while in the farms when help is required. |

Concerning this famous postcard, it can be noted that the beggar shown appears on a different postcard where he is presented as a leper. Difficult to tell if this is true or not, but the mention of a leprosy case would raise the price of the postcard! |
